Wendy Mass has a particular style that I think people either get or not. No matter how old you are, just sit down and read this gem of a book. That message is the beauty of Every Soul a Star. That, no matter how different you are from someone else, they could end up being your best friend. The idea of people not being what there appear to be on the surface. Maybe that's why- the idea of unlikely friendships. And it is the way that every character had obvious flaws, and deeper flaws but they all accepted one another in the end anyways. Even supporting characters whom were not one of the main characters were really real and connectable. And the characters did just that, and so much more.

The storyline itself could not have made an interesting book, it needed the characters so support it. The characters make you care about this story. And every time I clear out my bookshelves to make room for new books, this is one of the few that has stayed around through all of the years. Like, a self deemed classic of sorts, I'm not quite sure. I read it first in 4th grade, and I believe I have read it every year since. Why? Because the story is just adorable and it just gives me that "warm fuzzy feeling" on the inside. The characters make I read this book a very long time ago, and I have read it several times since. I read this book a very long time ago, and I have read it several times since. Historia (In Production) – A Visual Novel set in Penrith, a lazy town on the edge of civilization in Australia. “A96” could be read “A-ku-mu” in this way: Akumu means “Nightmare” (悪夢) in Japanese.Īnd that’s about all there is to that! We make visual novels and this Patreon has been set up so that you can support our struggles and have a little sneak peek into the production process. “A96” is a bad pun in Japanese, where you can use numbers to stand in for syllables. We circled around “Lucid” for a bit because, well, it’s a cool word. We wanted a name that wouldn’t be tied to the project that we were working on (Historia) but would still have some kind of ethereal feel to it.

“Lucid A96” came out of a couple of days of brainstorming on our Dev Slack.
